Megan D'Arcy was born in Ottawa, Ontario in 1973. She studied Classical Studies at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec. She likes to explore different media and experiment with different styles and techniques. Her works often incorporate photography, collage, acrylic and resin.
Megan D'Arcy strolled thru the streets of Paris for inspiration in her new series of funky urban landscapes "Stepping into Paris". During her one week tour, Megan visited the river Seine, Monmartre, Saint Germain de Pres and the Moulin Rouge in the red light district.
She took hundreds of photographs capturing a snapshot of life in modern day Paris. The beautiful city streets are filled with limestone buildings, wrought iron lamp posts and statures. People are wandering thru the streets, sometimes with umbrellas visiting the local shops and cafes.
Megan's works have recently appeared on an HGTV program "Income Property" in Toronto. She is represented in Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto.
